How Volumetric Weight is Calculated:
Usually, volumetric weight (in kg) =
(Length × Width × Height) in cm / 4000
(Different companies may use 4000, 4500,5000, or 6000 as the divisor depending on their policy.)
For example:

A box size: 50 cm × 40 cm × 30 cm

Volumetric weight = (50×40×30) / 4000 = 15 kg
If the box’s actual weight is 8 kg, but the volumetric weight is 12 kg, the courier will charge based on 12 kg.
